Achievements

Last updated:

Achievements highlight parts of Oscova you have discovered. Open Achievements from your profile menu or select the level and XP badge in the top bar to see your unlocked badges, XP total, level, and discovered count.

How progress works

Oscova calculates progress from your current setup and the activity recorded in the last 30 days. It does not store a permanent achievement record.

If an underlying count drops below a requirement, its badge can re-lock and its points leave your XP total. The badge unlocks again when the count reaches the requirement later.

Chat achievements count only non-confidential threads. Conversations owned by confidential agents do not contribute to their progress.

Locked achievements stay hidden. The discovered count shows how many you have found without revealing the remaining badge names or requirements.

Unlock notifications

Newly unlocked badges appear in the notification bell. Metrics and achievement checks run separately, so a notification can take one or two metrics refreshes to arrive.

After Oscova restarts, existing progress is used as a silent baseline instead of replaying every unlocked badge. Accounts created after that baseline receive notifications for achievements already unlocked in their first metrics snapshot.

Turn achievements off

Open Settings > Preferences > General and turn off Achievements and XP to hide the profile-menu entry, top-bar level badge, and achievements page, and to silence unlock notifications.

Oscova continues collecting the same dashboard activity because those metrics also support non-gamification features. Turning achievements back on restores the badges and XP derived from your current activity without replaying notifications suppressed while the setting was off.
